Le récit des événements, qui ont mené à l'exclusion d'une culture millénaire, en déterre les rites et les traditions, dont la cérémonie des esprits (Ghost Dance). A true story, obscured by history — the story of the plundering of a sacred mountain, the abduction of a territory, the defeat of a peaceful people. From the depths of his cell in Illinois, Kicking Bear, a Sioux warrior, takes us back to March, 1891, three months after the massacre at Wounded Knee perpetrated by General George Custer's 7th Cavalry. His account relates the events that led to the destruction of an ancient culture and unearths rites and traditions, including the ceremony of spirits, the Ghost Dance. Like a song of memory and hope, the play's tone is one of confidences and deep bonds.
