Une invitation au voyage sur le dos d'un cerf-volant ou dans le ventre d'un accordéon. On entre dans les photos et les textes de Depardon, la Ferme du Garet, dédiée à ses deux fils, et on se laisse prendre au jeu subtil des apparences et des correspondances. Marc Feld nous restitue l'écorce sensible du souvenir, ses musiques, ses odeurs, ses goûts, toutes sensations qui mènent à l'émotion. Un acteur nous fait entrer dans le mouvement complexe d'une mémoire d'homme, rattrape un après l'autre les fragments d'une histoire vraie, celle d'un coin de terre, d'un pays de l'enfance qui modèle l'imaginaire du reporter-photographe, celle du passage du temps qui fait qu'on devient homme d'exil dans un monde en profondes mutations. Un récit palpable, sur la mémoire qui tangue, les fêlures du temps, la dissolution d'une époque, d'une manière d'être au monde.

An invitation to take a trip on the back of a kite or in the belly of an accordion. Entering into the text and photos of Raymond Depardon's La Ferme du Garet (dedicated to his two sons), the audience is drawn into a subtle interplay between appearances and associations. Marc Feld reconstructs the sensitive tissue of memory - its music, smells and tastes, all the sensations that lead to emotion. An actor takes us into the complex movements of a man's memory, reeling in, one by one, the fragments of a true story - the story of a small farm, the country of childhood that formed the imagination of the photojournalist, the tale of the passage of time during which he became a man in exile in a world undergoing profound change. A tangible account of the flitting dance of memory, of cracks in time, of the disappearance of an era and a way of life.
