For his first invitation as the new artistic director of the Festival TransAmériques, Martin Faucher is pleased to announce the return to Montreal of the brilliant Flemish choreographer and director Alain Platel of the renowned ballets C de la B.
This year's winner is Meg Stuart, an American-born choreographer and dancer, who presented her piece Built to Last at the Festival TransAmériques in May 2014.
The Grand Prix de la danse de Montréal is accompanied by $15,000 purse, is awarded to a Canadian or foreign artist who has made an outstanding contribution to the dissemination and advancement of dance.

The honorary co-chairs for the evening, Mme Anne-Marie Cadieux and Mr. Charles Milliard are happy to have gathered 245 guests who helped raise $102,350.
