For more than a month, from ChambĂ©ry to the Avignon Festival, French photographer JeanâLouis Fernandez followed the rehearsals for Sang des promesses, Wajdi Mouawadâs quartet consisting of Littoral, Incendies, ForĂȘts and Ciels. In close contact with the artists, he was a privileged witness to fleeting invention, the creative process and moments of searing intensity.
